The idea of the project is to keep an ongoing, highly accessible, database of information about Canadian actors, playwrights, directors, producers, designers, theatre organizations and institutions, composers and plays available to the world. The site will be continually under construction with information changing as résumés change, deaths occur and profiles rise.The Canadian Theatre Encyclopedia is maintained by Athabasca University as a service to the Canadian theatre community.
