Listen to Wikipedia:语音式维基百科是一个根据维基百科开放的数据，令其每一个变化都自动生成一种声音的维基百科网站，让维基百科资源数据可听化。比如，新增一个词条时，会响起排钟的乐声，而一阵连续的音符则代表某篇词条的内容有所删减，还有高音代指词条中的小改动，低音代表大改动，渐大的乐声代表新用户加入了维基百科。所有乐声都根据维基百科的实时动态生成，难得的是，当这些单独的旋律无序拼凑起来时，竟然毫无违和感，还有些禅宗(Zen)的味道。除了根据动态自动生成旋律外，Listen to Wikipedia 还会根据词条改动力度的大小生成不同颜色和面积的圆圈，圆圈大则变动范围大，反之亦然。这一概念有点像“数据可视化”，只不过用到这里，变成了“数据可听化”。Listen to Wikipedia's recent changes feed. The sounds indicate addition to (bells) or subtraction from (strings) a Wikipedia articles, and the pitch changes according to the size of the edit. Green circles show edits from unregistered contributors, and purple circles mark edits performed by automated bots.
